#HD Remaster

Final Fantasy X HD was one of the feathers in the cap of the PS Vita when it was announced, and then things went dark on the project for quite some time. Today, Square Enix unveiled the first trailer for the game, and confirmed that Final Fantasy X-2 is also getting the HD treatment. Unfortunately for PS Vita owners, this announcement isn’t all great news…
The posting also mentions a May 16 release date.
Eurogamer is reporting that a listing has gone up on Amazon France for Ratchet & Clank HD Collection - one of the few series left that Sony has yet to modernize in high resolution on the PlayStation 3. The listing has since been removed for reasons unknown. Before coming down, the collection was listed for release on May 16 with no details on the included games.
The speculation has come to an end.
Ahead of Tokyo Games Show 2011, Square Enix surprised fans with the announcement of an upcoming HD version of Final Fantasy X. At the time, however, no information about the game was announced otherwise - including whether the game was to be a remake of the PlayStation 2 title or a remaster. You may be asking yourself, "Why did Capcom decide to remaster Resident Evil Code: Veronica X in HD?" Truth is, I'm asking myself the same question after playing it. The game is fully rendered in 3D, unlike Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3, which feature static backgrounds. This has made an HD port possible, but it hardly makes it necessary. Because the graphics have received minimal improvement and the gameplay has received none, the HD port serves little purpose other than bringing Code: Veronica to two new platforms.
